Also in celebration of the release of Skydiggers' first studio recording in over 5 years, the new CD "Bittersweet Harmony" will be available there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------October 16, 2002 For all of you have patiently waited for new content (once again apologies all around as the 'Diggers are extremely busy in the studio) We recieved this juicy bit from Jay Bond: About two years ago, I started down the road of making a documentary about the Canadian band, Skydiggers. At the time, I hadn't even created a premise for the story, I was just determined to do it. Now, under the working title, The Truth About Us, a documentary is underway telling not only the story of the band but also showing my journey to make this documentary. Since the 'Diggers continue to create music and exist with their fans in mind, what better way to have a documentary come to life - a fan behind the camera. With that premise in mind, I may be looking to interview fellow fans on-camera to tell interesting stories of the band. If you have a great story, feel free to email it to souldawgproductions@rogers.com - I may contact fellow fans to set up interviews in the future. Early plans are in the works to do some shooting at this year's Horseshoe shows as well. One element I would like to achieve is to remain interactive with 'Diggers fans, capturing their feedback on camera. As mentioned, our journey to make this documentary is well underway but will take some time - as the depiction of my story will show, it's not easy making an independent documentary. Your support of this project and continued support of the band is appreciated. Cheers, Note: You must have Windows Media Player to view this clip. July 23, 2002 Glad to see that everyone was on the ball...our apologies we dropped it. The Chemical Sound photos are now viewable. We apologise for any inconvenience. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------July 12, 2002 Hey Folks, Here are some photos taken at a recent 'Diggers Recording Session at Chemical Sound in Toronto. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------May 7, 2002 Check out the new dates in the tour section! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------April 23, 2002 We've added a bunch of photos courtesy of Carolyn and Dayna, so check them out in the "Pics" section. Thanks go out to both of you for your patience and keep 'em coming! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also, don't forget that you can send in your "newsworthy notes" on the world of bizarre, ridiculous, or just plain odd. Skydiggers.com wants YOUR input too! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
